TNHSAA History

The Tiglawigan National High School Alumni Association was formally established during the 1st General Alumni Homecoming and 30th founding anniversary of the school last June 14, 2013.
Dindo Ampalla, the former TNHS principal, organized the alumni to form an association.
Erwin Mabugat, the 1988-1989 Class Salutatorian, was the Association’s first elected president and presiding officer for FY 2013-2016.
As president, Mabugat has initiated to construct the historic TNHS Alumni Building as the Association’s pet project.
The Executive Officers/ Board of Directors for FY 2013-2016 also facilitated the construction of the school’s perimeter fence. Each batch funded the one span of the fence.
They also formed The TNHS Alumni News which is the official community publication of the Association. It is published annually.
On October 22, 2014, the Association was registered and incorporated for 50 years with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in Iloilo City, with Company Registration Number CN201434836.

As duly authorized Association, the members adopted and ratified the newly drafted Constitution and By-laws during the 2nd General Alumni Homecoming on December 27, 2014, with 386-13 or 96.8% of the votes./*
