Erwin Mabugat,
the alumni president and managing editor of the Cadiz Bulletin publication,
discussed the principles of news writing and facilitated the workshop on
newsletter production.
According to
Mabugat, the workshop also intended to form The TNHS Alumni News, the
Association’s official community publication, and to select from among the
student participants the pioneer members of its editorial board through
competitive examinations.
The selected
members of the editorial board include Kenny Pabillaran (editor in chief), Ella
May Eliot (managing editor), Roseline Aribato (associate editor), Shane Daiz
(news editor), Elenita Rose Bastida (news writer), Marjorie Tesora (news
writer), Rosalinda Jaravelo (news writer), Julie Ann Tugap (news writer),

(news writer), Michael Shane Martinez (news writer), and Mark John Solis (news
writer), Jean Chavez (photojournalist), Remar Dulin (photojournalist), Nicolas
Mahipos (cartoonist), Daniel De Asis (circulation manager) and Jason Fernandez
(circulation manager).
On the
otherhand, Victor Parina, the solidwaste specialist of Cadiz City, motivated
the students about the importance of proper solid waste management, saying that
it starts at home and in school.
Charino Chavez,
the Association’s public information officer and board of director, is the
newsletter’s publication supervisor.
The TNHS Alumni
